August: Participants 143 plus 34 Pickle Fest 34 =177

Supervisory and work hours:  179 total hours, 111.5 range supervision hours, 67 maintenance hours.

September attendance and supervisor hours;

Attendance 88

Total range supervision  81.5

Maintenance activities 10.5

Out of the 91 hours of supervision available 60 hours were  scheduled on the website calendar. .

News release article came out in the Tribune Press Reporter September 17th

Advertisement for range supervised opening schedule now till Deer hunting, came out September 24 and will run for three weeks.

1,Last month discussion to be decided on: Holiday Hunt, Doe competition, promoted by Ben MrDutt and partner with NWRGC.

2,Boyceville Lions club banquet. NWRGC donated over $600 in prizes for raffles. Prizes will be picked up at NWRGC. May be a logistics problem?

3, Weekend range opening till opening of deer season.  still need volunteers to fill 6 hour time slots.

4.Grant update; Awards announced October 8th.

5. Still working on member phone directory. May need to change member information card for 2026.

6. Donation activities: Items, PayPal donations and Donation collection bins.

7. Wish list for Range improvement Grants.

Toby mentioned he still working on the webpage in regards to updating information quickly and accurately. Jeff also asked if we are able to update outdated pictures and will send photos and videos of youth hunt to try in events page.  On going discussion to follow.

Jeff Annis asked for reimbursement for materials he bought for some maintenance projects $174.77 – approved and 2nd Lloyd H and Tom M
Jeff A turned in money from trap cash draw $250, September rifle range $18 and August rifle range $37.25

Talked about new meeting format and minutes going on website.

Range Activities: No issues over the last month. Mostly members using the range a handful of non- members.
August sign ins 177 people, 179 volunteer hours of which 115 was supervision and 64 for maintenance activities
September 77 sign ins, 81 hours of volunteer hours of which 10hours were Maintenance.

Range advertisement is out for the next two weeks.
Tuesday trap has been slow.

Holiday doe hunt , Club will support and help with a holiday doe hunt competition. 3 person teams of which one needs to be a youth, pay to be part of competition and then weigh in your does and top 3 will get paid out a cash prize. Club will also make some money . Motion made and 2nd for the club to help and support Mike L and Mark S, plus a few members said they would help at the weigh ins.

Lions club banquet, Toby talked about the prizes the club donated to the Lions Club. Ammo that was donated to us for fund raising effort, the Lions will pay for the clays the se people shoot.

Sight in clinics November 1st and 8th

For calendar sign ups contact Mike Laubenstein or Toby Robinson. Text Toby at 715-577-9819. Even if it is last minute need this info on the calendar as this will help with future granst.

The grant we did get submitted is supposed to be awarded on October 8th, Cross your fingers we get a call.

Building Committee,
Kevin Lannon is going to head up a building committee. If you would like to be part of this please contact kevin at 715 505 0785. Would like to start getting a wish list together and then we can move forward from there.

Jeff would like to get a phone directory put together of our members. We will work on this during our next sign ups.

Steel targets and reactive targets. If they are down please leave them and contact John Roosen. He will come and fix them right away . Otherwise they get moved and then he can’t find them etc. John 218-340-7920

Ditch cleanup Saturday September 25that 10am. Please come and help and this can be done in an hour with 6-8 people. Meet at the county highway shop at 9:45 across from the post office.

Motion made for new donation boxes for the range and trap area. Motion made and 2nd  for $100 for two of them. Mike L and John R

We are going to shut down our private facebook page and only use our public one for now on. Motion made and 2nd Mike L and Kevin L.
