Our Range

NWRGC is the organization charged with operating Dunn County’s Boyce Ville Rifle range, a public range located in northern Dunn County. In that regard, our goal is to provide a safe, friendly, functional shooting-sports facility that meets the needs of area shooters. The Boyce Ville facility includes an Archery Range with targets from 10-50 yards, two pistol box berms (50 and 75'’) with six sheltered shooting positions, two trap ranges, a 180-yard rifle range with 16 sheltered shooting positions, and a warming house. All ranges (except trap) are backed by a 150’ hill beyond the berms.

The range is open only when a certified Range Supervisor is present. We’re always looking for more supervisors, so watch for the next training session! As a certified supervisor, you can open the range any time during 8am-dark, 6 days/week, and noon-dark on Sundays.

NWRGC features two regulation trap ranges at the Boyceville shooting sports complex.” With a link to a new trap range section of the home page (with a pic…main home page pic is fine). Trap range sections can say: “NWRGC features two regulation trap ranges at the shooting sports complex. These ranges are currently used for organized school trap teams, but there is a manual thrower available for use by all (under the direction of a range supervisor). The club is currently looking for a person or people that would be willing to organize open trap shooting, and eventually league trap shooting.
